Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company recently announced that they will be discontinuing software operation for their GIS products.
GMRC has endorsed the APPS program as the preferred replacement system, and the GIS team and the APPS team will be working closely to provide a free data conversion to those mutuals choosing APPS software.

What will happen to my data?
The APPS team and GIS teams are working closely to provide a data conversion free of charge to GIS customers switching to APPS.
What is the timeline I have to decide which automation software to use?
The GIS systems will be supported until the end of 2014. You will have to be fully converted to a new system by then.
Do I have options other than APPS?
Yes, you are free to choose the software vendor of your choice. If you choose APPS, we will do a data conversion from your GIS system to APPS at no additional charge. We believe we have the best software system combined with the best support staff to ensure the success of your mutual.
